Saffron Jones is taking a street psychic to court for making “horrible predictions” that she says changed her life forever.

Jones found the street psychic, Monica Star, on Santa Monica Pier seven months ago and paid her $3 for what she thought would be a fun and positive five-minute reading.

Instead, the psychic allegedly told Jones she would become an alcoholic drug addict, contract HIV and die in a firery car bomb explosion.

Jones says she could not get the ominous predictions out of her mind which led to PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) and a downfall into drug and alcohol addiction and living out of her car.

“I had a great career and life, but the stress of thinking I would start using drugs, catch a venereal disease and die in a car explosion was more than I could handle. I lost my mind and turned to abusing wine and PCP.”

Jones then contracted HIV from prostituting herself to support her drug addiction.

“The psychic planted this seed in my mind and now two of her horrible predictions have come true. Every time I turn the ignition key in my Geo Metro I’m just thinking this is it, the car’s going to explode.”

Jones is seeking 2 million dollars in damages and a positive psychic reading from Jones she hopes will reverse her bad fortunes.

“Psychic readings are supposed to always be positive,” Jones says. “I feel if Monica Star gives me a positive reading where she says I’ll get live for a thousand years and I’ll be cured of HIV and get my own talk show, that will stop my impending death and give me a bright future to look forward to.”
